Small Business Options from GroupHEALTH

With more and more people striking out to start their own small businesses, it can be daunting to even start to think about things like insurance and group coverage. If you are just starting out with your small business or have been running your small business for some time, you may not know that you too can offer benefits for your employees. This is due to a common misconception that big businesses are the only ones who can get group benefits. This is not true! Through the STA in cooperation with GroupHEALTH, small businesses can get group benefits as well.

Typically, small businesses need fifteen to twenty employees to qualify for group benefits, but if you are a member of the STA, we can get you group benefits with a minimum of three employees. These benefits include disability, group life insurance, a prescription drug plan, paramedical services such as massage therapy and chiropractors, and dental coverage.

GroupHEALTH understands your needs. Whether you’re a small business owner or part of a big business, offering benefits is a way to actively show your employees that they are valued. Help your employees better look after themselves, their families, their futures, and quality of life with the AdvantagePLUS™ benefits plan. AdvantagePLUS™ offers competitive rates, easy online administration, and customized benefit plans. Besides the benefits listed above, AdvantagePLUS™ also offers disability management services, Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP), and a medical second opinion service.

At the STA, we can provide answers to your questions about GroupHEALTH and the AdvantagePLUS™ plan. You can contact us by clicking here.
