Young Guns are passionate about their work, community and are committed to ongoing training and education. A few words from Katarina below about her history in the industry and what drives her to succeed.
“I have been in the insurance industry for over six years. I joined the industry in 2011 with Saskatchewan Government Insurance (SGI Canada) as a summer student. From there I branched out and became a Property and Casualty Insurance Broker.
My passion for insurance is beyond belief. The fact that I get to provide people with a peace of mind is priceless and absolutely fulfilling, nothing is more rewarding than that. The rapport I build with my clients is the most valuable part of my job. I am so privileged that I speak all of the Arabic dialects in the world as it helps me bond with my Syrians, Egyptians, Sudanese, Tunisians, Lebanese, South Sudanese and all of the Arabic speaking communities in Saskatchewan.
I am always volunteering my time as I find joy in providing service to people who genuinely need it. To help clients to better understand the significance of insurance and how it can provide, possible ways of protection and contingency for the uncertain future is the most rewarding feeling ever.
I have been volunteering with non-profit organizations such as Regina Open Door Society to guide immigrants who are fairly new in Canada towards a better and assured life through Insurance. By explaining to them the purpose of insurance and why we all need it to be resilient and recover from unseen hazards brings me great joy. Conversations about risk prevention, identify fraud, the need for a clean driving record and how business works in Canada are all important parts in assisting new Canadians to navigate their new life here.
I take great pride in what I do, I am always willing to go the extra step for my clients helps not only them but also helps me grow as a broker. I am very happy to be part of the HAL Insurance team.”
